We perform an experiment using higher order spherical harmonic coefficients (comparing to our approach that uses zero order only).
All results shown in this section are before refinement.
As illustrated below, using higher order coefficients leads to undesirable view dependent effects, such as as the changing colors on the feet of the "yarn kangaroo" or the head of the dog becoming a birthday party hat.
